I have found that a little feed, regularly distributed, is more effective in drawing hogs, than a lot of feed on an irregular basis. Bug.
I agree with Bug. When we hunt in Texas, we spead out a bag of corn every day. When the hogs get used to it, then they don't travel very far.
The same thing applies with corn feeders. Both deer and hogs get used to it and, when the feeders goes off every morning and afternoon, it's kinda like a dinner bell and they all get to the corn. (Granted, deer HATE hogs. As such, the deer usually get there first and start eating very fast. When the hogs come, then the deer leave.)
