Any Encore shooters in this chambering. Just got my new barrel fro MGM and I'm waiting on my dies. My Savage fired cases wouldn't chamber is why I'm waitin on my dies. Any interest or info would be appreciated. I fired this round a lot in my Savage but the dang thing was too long and heavy so I got a standard TC taper 28" barrel so I can carry it around. It's still quite a bit shorter than my Savage with a 2" longer barrel. Thanks in advance.       hogwire  (Larry Pitts)

I don`t shoot the .22-243 but do shoot the .22-6mm. I am just curious as to what weight bullets you shoot and at what velocity? I can safily push 80 gr. bullet to around 3,600 fps., but I get my best accuracy at 3,250 so that`s what I shoot. Mine is an 8 twist. Please tell me about your Savage.
