Got my new SSI home today nice wood decent finish only one problem. No owners manual so I check Mossbergs web page no luck. It did show how to put it together just like my shotguns. Went together fine though everything was tight. I decided to take it apart to clean it and mount the scope base. I removed the forend screw and tried to pop off the forend wouldn't budge. Tried it with the action open still wouldn't come loose. After about ten minutes I was getting mad and I tend to break things when I get mad so I took a break. Cooled off came back for another try shot some teflon between the wood and metal no good. I e-mailed Mossberg about the lack of a owners manual and problem I'm sure in the next week I'll get a nice automated response.
