Lyman cast bullet manual should be the first. There are lots of others but it is the first to get.

Troy, have you gotten a manual yet?  I have a RCBS cast bullet manual that I was given by someone on this forum years ago, I'd do the same for you if you don't have one.

"Modern Reloading" by Richard Lee has a good chapter. So too does the "ABC's of Reloading".

That Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook is a complete book, and a fairly big book, that covers the rudiments of casting as well as "developments" in casting over the years. There are excerpts from other manuals like the Cast Bullet Shooter Assn publication as well as pictures, testing results and hunting results. There are charts showing which Lyman molds to be used with which weapon and so on. Years after you get one, you will still be picking up some piece of information out of it.

"Anything" written on casting would be a good addition to your library as there is no end to the education.

IMO, the Lyman book should be your foundation.
