Just a note about my factory 300 win mag barrel.I got to work up a load for the first time yesterday and was very pleased with the results after shooting it.

Range @100yrds

Barrel-Stainless Hvy,300 win mag

Scope-Leupold Vari X III 4.5X14.5X50

Bullet-Nosler 180gr Ballistic Tip

Imr-4831 72gr.

Shooting on a steel shooting table,Bi-pods and Sand bags.

Four Shots 1.00@100yrds. This is the first load we worked up and im really pleased with the results.I was somewhat skeptical about the accuracy of factory Encore barrels after reading several posts on this forum but now to say im excited with what i have is an understatement. :grin:

Good shooting! Maybe I've been lucky but everyone of my T/C barrels have been shooters. With the number of barrels I have that is way more luck than is my usual allotment!

Good going scooter, all of my barrels have been shooters too. Never had no problem with them.

Not near as bad as the first shoot! I used a Past Pad this time and the recoil felt like shooting my 7Mag. :grin:
