Got a new 11-87 yesterday. It should be a real killer....Switched from a NEF single shot to this one due to the brutal recoil of the NEF. The NEF was a turkey killing machine, but it kicked like a government mule, with just 3" shells. 3.5" weren't even an option for me with it. I only weigh 140 pounds, and just don't have the bulk to take the beating the NEF dished out...With this Remington, you can shoot 3.5" shells all day long and be none the worse for wear. 3" rounds are child's play with it.
The pattern on the left is a Remington 3.5" #6 at 25 yards....Pattern on the right is the same load at 45 yards. Got some different ammo to try out, but it will be hard-pressed to outshoot this load.
