I know of several cartridges made from the 7.62x39 but I've never heard of making it from any other. It would be nice to have one small primers could be used with.

i was looking for a way to come up with brass   i cannot justify 65 bucks for 50 empty LApua cases

Bob, You do know that Remington 7.62x39mm brass are small rifle primer pockets right?

Do you have to use Lapua? What about Fiocchi -WW or RP? Once Fired Reloadables?

Buy some winchester white box or remington green box at wally world they are fairly cheap and have good reloadable brass.

BTW I've seen brass for sale on gun broker. 8)

Carbineman Yes I do but the newer production isn't, At least some of it isn't I bought two boxes last week and they had large primers, I was disappointed becaused thats (small primer) what I bought them for.

I didn't know that. All the Remington I have is small rifle primer pockets. Whats the appeal for the small rifle primer? I can't tell a difference in performance in my Saigas.

I don't know yet. It is supposed to help some with accuratecy but I haven't tested enuff to know yet.
