Need some Info.......

  I'm looking for a local archery club, or someone to help me with my long bow.

I'm located in SE Ohio, Zanesville area. I need some pointers and someone to check out my bow for me.

Just not sure if I have the proper arrows, maybe need new string, etc etc......... any help out there???

Not sure, but I think the OSTA (Ohio Society of Traditional Archers) have a web site where you might start.  If not, look at Tradgang.com or stickbow.com and go to the OH forums.  Best of luck.

I live in the athens area. What sort of help do you need? What type of string do you have on your bow, endless loop or flemish twist? What material is it made from? Some older bows can not handle the new string materials, espeacially if your bow doen't have limb tip laminations. Is the string fuzzy (broken strands) or maybe the string is unraveling. If your not sure what the spine is of your arrows you may be able to take them to ohio valley gun shop in logan, nelsonville or athens and they can help. I usually shoot arrows 5 pounds under the spine weight of my bow, but thats just me.
