357 Handi. Sweet!!!
« on: March 03, 2009, 12:18:36 PM »
Got my "new" 357 barrel today that I bought on the Classifieds here from Arrowstar.  Shot a few factory loads just to get a feel.  I really like this gun!  Almost no recoil, and very accurate with the sights that came on it.   I'll go back Saturday when I have time to really get into it, just couldn't wait to see if my first attempt at barrel fitting was a go.  Musta' been, me and the gun are still in one piece.  Just had to touch up the latch shelf just a "itty bit".

I love my .357 too. Mine was good right out of the box. I was shooting 1 1/4" groups @ 70 yards with the factory open sights using .38 wadcutters my first trip to the range.

You're gonna love it :-*  My .357 shot one ragged hole at 60 yards BEFORE I shimmed the pivot.  It is a very consistent rifle, and one I plan to keep until I can't use it anymore.  Then it will go to my grandson.
