"The Hen." That just tickles me every time you call her that William. ;D I was wondering if you call her that to her face. I called my "hen" the Old Gray Mare once and I'm still picking the slivers of that 2 X 4 out of the side of my head. At least your hen only nags you. Mine kicks. :D

Wal Willum as I'm prone to say to Faye OFTEN when she gives me that revelation about having learned something today,

"At your age it's about dang time you finally learned something".  :o

Yeah she don't like it either.  ;D

My wife does not nag me. She doesn't have to. We were married for fifty years the thirteenth day of this month and in those fifty years I have learned that when she tells me to do something to just get up and go do it.  ;D It took a few years but I have it figured out now.

she is a "MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER!"

I have GOT to tell that one to Kathie!  ;D  It will give her something to say back when I call her a little white woman...  (don't ask...  :-[ )

You all know the three parts of a wedding a woman likes the best are the ISLE, the ALTAR, and the HYMM.

That is what she told her friends before she married you.
I'LL ALTER HIM!!!  ;) :D ;D

Ann, my wife of 46 years, AKA the Hen, taught elemetary scool for 40 years. It just comes natural for her to be a mother hen.
It does get on the neves, however
Good woman, no doubt---a Hen also.

I know what you are saying William and in my case it is at the workplace.
I have a lady who supervises one department and she has a habit of nagging that far exceeds those in nine other departments that I deal with....
She is a likeable gal though so I told her that if I ever needed a Lobbyist, that I was coming to get her! Suprisingly, this seemed to help!

Women love projects... paint the kitchen, hang new curtains, change the husband.
It's when they lose interest in "changing" you that you have to worry  :P

rparsons, no amount of dating prepares you for learning to live with one another.  I'm a young guy and only have a couple years experience, but you can cram a lot of experience into a couple of years when it comes to learning to live with someone!!
If you survive the wedding planning, you have it made!

and just remember... she is always right.  As long as you keep this in mind, a peaceful household is virtually assured  ;D

For some reason most women think their purpose in life is to change men.
I am sure you all have heard this," he is just wonderful, i just love him dearly, i wouldn't change a
thing about him EXCEPT"
not always but mostly, men are happy any where doing most anything, but
women need a nest.

If you ever get a chance, all men and women should see IN DEFENSE OF THE CAVEMAN. It is a live one man stage show that hits the nail on the head and
is about as funny as you will see.
