S&W 22A trigger
« on: December 05, 2002, 03:35:37 PM »
Is there an easy way to smooth up the trigger on AN S&W 22A?
I've done the trigger in most of my 1911's but am lost with the little plinker

My 22A came with a weak spring and had been dry fired a bunch in the show case. I had to replace the main spring and firing pin to get it to fire every round and eject. The trigger will ease up after a good cleaning and polish of the moving parts. The best thing you can do for this one is clean and a good quality oil lightly applied.
