That guy that killed the 4 cops in Oakland last week may have been a low-life creep with a rap sheet a mile long and badly in need of a one way ticket to an electric chair, but you have to give him credit for taking the marksmanship aspect of his craft seriously. The great thing about handguns as crime weapons is that most crooks can't use them effectively at any distance. This guy definitely could, and he knew where to place the bullets so that they were effective.
I'm certainly not praising the crook, but one doesn't often hear about crooks that effective in a shootout with police.
This is another case where a guy that should have been locked up and kept there years ago was out on the street waiting for something like this to inevitably occur.
One of his relatives said "he is not a monster". That's right. He "WAS" a monster.
