10 mil 200 grain Comparison

Call me late - as I usually are... but I got some 10mm/200 grain SST/SW's in the mail this weekend and I was kinda inspecting the new bullets as I normally do not shoot pointy bullets at all.

Well, I really expected the SST/SW to be a 200 grain XTP with the tip inserted in the hollow point.  As you can see fron the picture comparison they are from different molds... The SST/SW is a longer bullet with a smoother taper to the tip.

 

Anyway as I said this was all new to me....

That picture shows a huge difference. We need to compare the BC of those two bullets.

Note the semi boat-tail base of the SST/SW as well.
