Lee Deluxe Handgun 4-Die Set 40 S&W

I am a little confused on the dies I am buying to reload for my 40S&W. Are the Lee dies for a 40S&W and 10mm the same dies? For the 4 die set, Lee list the same part number for the 40S&W and 10mm. For the 3 die set, Lee lists one part number for the 40S&W and one part number for the 10mm.

I was in Cabelas yesterday and they had the 4 die set but the Lee label said it was a 10mm die set. Can anyone help clear this up for me?

Their website shows them listed together under the same number for the 4 die set.

 But looking at the 2009 catalog they show the product number only with the 40 S&W. BUT, they also don't show the 357 Magnum listed along with the 38 Special...

Looks a bit confusing.

BTW the product number shown for the 40 S&W in the catalog is 90965 for the 4 die set.

Since this has me confused, I finally got through to Lee's customer service and asked them. The 4 die set at Cabelas had to have the wrong instruction sheet put in it by Lee Precision employees as they don't have a 4 die 10mm set. I didn't have the part numbers with me yesterday but I am going back today to check it out.

I've seen this on their 38-357 dies. You can load both 38 and .357 and 357max with the 38 dies. But if you get the 3 die set in .357, the crimp has been cut to deep to reach .38 lenght brass.  gypsyman

I use the .40 S&W dies for 10mm, and the .38spl dies for the .357. Works just like Gypsyman said. Just have to readjust the dies to change over.

But you can't use 10mm dies on 40S&W can you? Cabela's has 10mm Lee 3 die sets (I originally thought it was the 4 die set)  and they told me it wouldn't work for the 40S&W.

Well, I ordered the Lee 4 die set from Midway USA today ... actually, the dies are backordered. I saw some new Redding dies today in a gunshop for $59.00 but am totally unfamiliar with Redding. Thanks for the input guys.
