Trigeer Overtravel Stop for Bisley
« on: March 30, 2009, 04:21:37 AM »
I have a Ruger Bisley Hunter.  Bob Munden did a nice action job, but he does not provide an overtravel stop.  I find that I get some vertical stringing without the stop.  Anyone recommend a smith who would do an internal stop; i.e. not visible?  While it is there I also want it recrowned, but I am more worried about the internal stop work quality.
Be honest with yourself.  Can you guarantee you would hit a paper plate at 250 yards...100 yards...50 yards?  Then you have no business replacing the plate with a live animal.

Alan Harton can do it.
