The 257 WBY FPS

My 257 WBY shoots these bullets at 120gr bullet goes 3365 FPS, the 117 bullet goes 3323 FPS, The 100gr bullet goes 3530 FPS, The 87gr bullet goes 3779 FPS. These are loaded with RL25 powder except the 87gr bullet RL22.

I don't understand your post!? Are you bragging on your rifle? your loads? Looking for a comparison?
Your results seem very good to me. I don't shoot a Weatherby but I do shoot a 25/06. I don't shoot anything heavier than 100gr. My Savage 110fp with 100gr Sierra Matchking HPBT and IMR4831 chronographs for an average of 5 shots 3387fps. If comparison is what you seek, I hope this helps.

Sounds like magnumitis to me.  We have all had it.  Fortunately, you can't catch it twice.

I've never shot a .257 Weatherby.  I'm starting to get intrigued by it.  The velocity is pretty crazy... I've a 6mm Remington that pretty fast and I could make it a little faster if I wanted to but I don't think it can catch that .257.  Don't know what I would use it for that I couldn't use the 6mm for... but then why do I need a justification???  That 3700 fps sounds pretty cool... I might have to add it to my wish list...

I am shooting a 110 accubond just under 3300 over a load of 4350. This is not the fastest load but the most accurate. My question is  why did you test all of those bullet sizes? usually I decide an aproximate range of size that I want to shoot and focus on the pills in that size range.

Maybe he would just like to see how Varmit & game bullets will do, I am testing a friend's new Marlin 25-06 the very same way.

I always shoot my rounds threw my conagraph. That way I know the range that they will go and still have enought power to kill the animal.
