I hear some good things about Toyota Engines, but they are not proven in these parts like the Chevy small block. I currently have a 2000 Chevy Silverado Ext. Cab with 307,000 miles, I changed the plugs at 303,000
miles, thought it was time. I put 305,000 on a 88 Chev before I sold it in in the mid 90's. In between I used 2 diff. Cad. Fleetwoods with the LT1 engines (rockets) for sales cars & I put 250,000 or so on them before 2 of my boys wound up with them & THEY ARE STILL DRIVING THEM!!!. Yes, I drive alot & other Salesmen I know have good luck with the Chev. pickups & Tahoes. The performance has been far more consistant than any other.
