« on: March 26, 2009, 02:42:31 AM »
Watching Fox 5 morning news, they happen to show a shot of Governers Island showing a sole seacoast cannon near it parapits of its fortress. Took out my camera took a few pictures, not the greatest but good enough for someone here to comment on..

El Caz, what are you smokin' up there in NY, the only thing these two pics remind me of is the old "Op Art" that used to be popular way back when (in NYC as a matter of fact).
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

IF you download the pix and then open it - it works.  OK, not great, but OK.

Looks like a pretty big Rodman if those are people walking just to the left of the muzzle.

Hey Caz, you've been given a pardon :D, and denial is no longer necessary, if it's OK with the new Prez, then who am I to argue. If there's one thing (maybe only one thing) that I admire about our new "Commander-in-Chief" it's his humor. When asked if he ever inhaled, he laughed, and then replied, "of course I inhaled, that was the whole point; wasn't it?" :o

You know the Museum of Modern Art would really prefer the first pics you posted, but as for me, I think that you've heroically redeemed your honor with this second group; Great job! :D
