PHATINJUN,
Nice looking guns.  Did you change the rear sights on the 58’s and 45?  I have a 45 with a fold down rear sight.   Did you make the brass barrel band and spacer?

Thanks guys I pretty proud of this part of my collection.

Walleye the sights are the way I got them one of the 58's is tapped for scope mount and the other and the .45 are tapped for peep sight the bbl band was bought I think from Dixie cataloge was for a 1800somthin 3 band musket and it had the same general shape but was just bigger dia. so I cut it in half and ground filed and bent it to fit then brazed it back togeather and polished it fit's very well and was quite easy to refit the spacer and trigger gaurd are from Moyers and about all I can say about that is they are servicable and I have made them work. I have one more set of the brass and am thinking about fitting them to the 12ga. I also have a spare AL Huntsman frame that is a little different than these others as the lugs from the others won't even fit in this frame but I am thinking about maybe trying to stub a .32 or a .36 and make a tree rat ML out of it. Busta I like that .50 set up that way the only thing I would change on it would be the frame if one of them Nickel ones that are stamped Huntsman happened my way. I had a lead on one once but the price was gonna break the bank. ;) Kurt

okay guys keep the pics a comin:o

These are the two form the avatar Underclocked made for me:
T- .58 Huntsman
B- .45 Shikari Hubbard's Muzzleloader Conversion

:-[ OK, this is cheating, but here's my concept for the .58 Carbine I haven't built yet:
I'm not much for leaving stuff 'as is'.  ::)
My ex' used to ask "Why do you have to change everything?"

Have other projects in mind but they may need to wait till after retirement. :P
-  12 bore on a 10Ga. frame
- .45 SMI on a spare SB-2 frame
-   ??  :-\  ??
