I just picked up a used SS pro hunter action and stock. It was on the rack at a local sporting goods as a full rifle in 22-250. I wanted the action and another guy wanted the bbl so a sale was made.
When I get the action home I realize I cannot cock the hammer. I am wondering if a bbl must be mounted up to allow the action to be cocked so I can test the trigger?
If not, whats going on???
Also, any problems with dry firing an Encore???
Thanks for your responses on this one.
