New 44 mag rifle?

Noticed the HR1871 site.  Had a 44 mag on a SB1 frame.  cannot use other barrels.  Wonder why they went this route?  Was this to correct the twist/bore size issues?  evidently this is a dedicated 44 mag rifle only.

Yup, with scope rail only, has been that way for a year now, it can be fitted with 12ga and smaller shotgun barrels as well as Huntsman barrels, it also comes as a slug combo. They'll also fit your '87 or newer SB1 shotgun frame with 44mag and 357mag accessory barrels....if they had any in stock.

I talked with them today, they said they have .357s. Too bad they don't have .44s or either 20ga slug barrels, those are what I am after. They said in 2-3 months they should be stocked up. I'll have to keep waiting and watching the classifieds.
