In my research, looking at the .38 super and 9x23 I discovered the Star.
These are my conclusions, looking at it. First and foremost: I don't like Star's.
There are many models and designs for the super 9 and they are basically a super .38 though the number of designs don't always allow super .38 ammo.
Be careful here.
Also the number of designs create a need, sometimes, for different mags.
That saying a super 9 may not be the same super 9 in the same model but different design. Then you throw in the 9mm largo--what a mess.
It was so confusing I gave it up, got a 9x23 and a super .38 in an STI.
