large pistol magnum primers?
« on: April 10, 2009, 09:29:47 AM »
i picked up some large pistol magnum primers because it was all that was available, i assume i can use these in my 44 mag load with h110 that i use standard primers in now, but what about 44 special and 45 colt loads with hs6?

Should not be a problem with the Spl or Colt loads , However as always when ever changing componants you should back off on the load and work back up .

The H110 will thank you .  ;D

For what it's worth, the Lyman 48th actually recommends using the Large Pistol Magnum when using H-110 for the 44 Rem Mag

im glad to hear they should work for the 44 special and 45 colt since thats all i could find.   i'll have to work them into my 44mag load too since they might work better for it.
