Just a 2 year old but that's alright by me. 16lbs 2oz, 3/4 inch spurs, 9 1/2 inch beard. But man what a morning. I must have heard at least 8 birds gobble on the limb. Called this bird around the end of a slough and another long beard that hadn't gobbled at all came strutting in with him. It was kinda thick and I only had a few good shooting lanes so I had to drop the hammer on him at 40 yards. But the Winchester number 6's eat him up. Pulled the trigger at 06:40. Gotta love those 2 year olds that will hop off the limb and come to you that quick. Here he is with me and a two year old of another sort.
