Just picked this pistol up this past weekend.
I didn't get to fire it yet but just wanted to comment how impressed I am with the craftsmanship.
This firearm is tighter and more nicely finished than the new Springfield Armory 1911 Stainless Mil-spec I ordered this summer which came factory fresh with tool marks here and there.
The condition of this CZ however is as you would expect from a new gun. Flawless.
Only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, merely an observation, is that it could have came in a itsy bit bigger lock box. The box is barely big enough for the gun and its extra mag and cleaning tools. Plus, I about never figured out the secret opening mechanism that's hidden on it
I cured this problem by using one of my fresh Craftsman conversion units I've been making, which is 2x or 3x bigger. Plenty of leg room
Those are cool bythe way. I bought a 'sheet' of the black/dark gray egg crate foam (3'x6' I believe), use a utility blade knife to 'gut' a craftsman case (remove the inner liner with the tool contour) and line with the foam. They make great cases for guns that don't come with cases. I'm sticking a lot of my C&R stuff I've picked up in them.
Hopefully will have a range report soon.
Anyone with any performance reports, please sound off.
