I asked much the same question some time ago.  The answer is Varget.  I've had excellent results so far with 243, 45-70, 30-06.  Just wish pistol powder were so easy.

 my one rifle powder would be varget or maybe rl-7, unique for handguns

Varget, used it in my .308 last year, worked great.  Going to try it in my 7mm-08/.260/.250 this year.
