Cleaning Kits

I have been looking for a gift for my shooting/gunsmith enthusiast brother. However I'm not sure what all you gunsmiths require for storage parts and cleaning supplies etc. I saw Outer's offered a wood chest with cradle for $ 99.00 but most all reviews I have read said it was crap and very cheaply constructed and don't waste money.


So that got me looking at machinists chests. came across this for roughly same price. seems to me it would be easy to make a make a cradle similar to the one offered by the Outers Kit and get the best of both worlds A solid constructed chest and cradle for roughly same price. what do all you gunsmith folks think? is this something you all would use?
