Anybody have any thoughts on converting a 1911 45 ACP to 45 Super? I have found articles that said it is as easy as changing the recoil and firing pin springs. Profession gunsmiths do alot more than change 2 springs and charge a lot more money. Would like to hear from anyone who has a 1911 converted to 45 Super and how it went for them. I don't want to do this and have it destroy my gun in a few hundred rounds.
thanks

Why be difficult, when with a little extra effort you can be impossible?
