XS7 Marlin short action bolts ...

Has anyone heard anything lately about the approximate release dates for the .243, 7mm-08, and the .308? I have an order in for a 7mm-08 but cannot find out any new information.

We must think alike, I just going to ask the same question. I have my money, and want one in .308 or 7mm-08. Last I heard was late April they would be out.

Well, the .308 XS7's are out. A guy on another forum just posted with a picture of his new rifle.

He had to pay an FFL fee, taxes, shipping fee  ... total of $349.00. It was bought through a Cabelas and shipped to his FFL. My 7mm-08 has been priced for $329.00 total as I paid a $25.00 "special order" fee.

Well, I just contacted a gun store here that will actually order stuff, and he said none of his suppliers have it, so he can't order it.  ??? Claims he has some on order for a while now with no expected shipment date. I guess I'll wait a few more weeks and see what happens.

A neighbor bought a .243 factory-scoped package this week for $349 OTD from a local discount FFL.
