Has anyone used the RCBS 1-Cavity Mold 476-400-SWC 480 Caliber (476 Diameter) 400 Grain Semi-Wadcutter?
I think I have Santa talked in to a new SRH, and I really like cast bullets.

yup shot it alot in my .475 and its a great bullet. Very accurate. I shot a pig with it at about 1000fps and it worked great.

A single cavity mould for a handgun? Nope I haven't and if it is only offered as a single cavity mould I won't be trying it. I have better things to do with my time than cast handgun bullets in a single cavity mould.

Ah Graybeard,
I cast for relaxation and a hobby. I don't consider the time I use to cast wasted. That's why I started to reloading in the first place. I can't truly say because of cost, because we all know it isn't cheap to get good equiptment to cast, size and load. There's always an "I want" at Midway.

Tom if you'd forget about Midway and buy from someone with reasonable prices you'd get a lot more for your money. D&R for instance. They are an advertiser on this site and on ANYTHING they and Midway both sell you can depend on D&R being cheaper. If they don't have it check with Midsouth. Once again if both have it Midsouth will be cheaper.

Thanks for the input. I'll look at the other suppliers.
But I'll probably stick with Midway.
