Range time with 1895G
« on: March 12, 2009, 04:48:57 PM »
Hoping to make it to the range tomorrow to shoot my rifle for the first time.  I have one box of Federal 300 grain and one box of LE ammo to try.

SHot about five of teh Federals and four of the LEs.  Not as bad as I imagined as it was my first time ever shooting a .45-70.  Then again I am used to shooting 12 ga. slugs.

Oh yeah.  Can't wait until next time.  I definitely have to hunt somewhere I can use this thing in the near future.

I am new to the 45-70. Bought a 1895G and man-o-man, is this baby fun!
I am planning a bear tag and a WT buck for my new little thumper.
