No Hollywood film on these videos. This is all actual footage from The Vietnam War set to the tune of the music of the time. There's nine videos all together, so if you want, just watch one or two and then come back some other time and see more. I'm hoping these videos will leave you with an appreciation of what the brave soldiers who were sent to Vietnam had to endure.
I feel that the
second to last video is the best. It shows the war from three perspectives: 1) What it was like for our soldiers; 2) what was happening back in the United States while our soldiers were fighting and some (58,000) being killed; and 3) from the perspective of the South Vietnamese who we were fighting for. If you watch only one video, I'd have to say that it's the one to watch. It does however get quite graphic.
