As suggested Sam's Club as bulk beans and rice.  Costco also has a varity of dry beans and rice.

Do some googleing and compare prices. Think about transportation costs. Your local feed store will have corn and wheat that could be cooked whole or made into hominy, or used more traditionally if you have a grain mill. Ask when you buy to make sure no pesticides have been added, what is fit for livestock will probably be OK for human consumption. Think about storeage. For long term storeage you need to keep most stuff cool and dry.

As you are bumping around the internet you will run into Morman sites. They are good sources of information as they have been storing essentials for a long time.

That is a good point about the Mormons.  Being prepared is part of their system of beliefs.  Nearly every Morman I know has a well stocked larder. They don't waste much and they don't want for much.  Good, solid folks.  We would all be well advised to take lessons from them.  The only problem is they don't really talk much about their stuff.  Here is a website you might want to take a look at. http://www.pleasanthillgrain.com/foodpak1.aspx

Depending on your location try the local feed store/ elevator. Nothing mystical about putting commodities in a bag, take a large poly trash can if you want. Most feed stores have bags they can sew shut if you want that done.

If you live in the northwest - Oregon, Wash, etc check out this place. We live in Alaska and they deliver to Northland Barge in Seattle /Tacoma. Great variety and good outfit to deal with:
Azure Standard / Azure Farms  http://www.azurestandard.com/

I just like their variety. We really like their rolled oats and buy them in the 25 and 50 lb bags.
