Good morning every one!!

It's 30 degrees and cloudy here in Cut Bank.  A dusting of snow over night.

Still feeling a bit under the weather, so I am going to call in sick today...

Good Afternoon Montana!

We are having off and on Thunder Storms and Showers today in NE Wisconsin. Temps are in the 40s.

Canon6, I've been reloading 6.5 X 55 Swede and .308 this weekend too. See how great minds think together. ;)

Also still looking for my ancestors. I'm having better luck with the reloading.

Hope you fine folks have a great Sunday.
Mike

Let me see, today, it has been sunny, rainy, windy, snowing, dumping hail, calm, and cool and it's kinda warm right now.  I took my girlfriend's oldest son to his hunter's safety field course on Saturday.
After that I took his mom on her first mountain bike ride.  It was a fairly simple ride with a nice relaxing rest by a river at half way.
Today, we took a short hike with her younger son.  They never realy walked much in the woods until now.  Though her son has a luke-warm attitude for it, my girlfriend seems to really appreciate the outdoors.
I saw a very nice herd of elk on my ride, Friday.  I also saw another bird fight on Friday.  On the Saint Regis River, I saw a bald eagle trying to attack an Osprey, but the Osprey was far more manuverable than was the large female Bald Eagle.    Everytime the Bald eagle got her speed up and dove in at the Osprey, the Osprey would just make a sharp turn and circle.  This went on for a few minutes.  Then a male bald eagle got involved for a brief moment and then he bolted to the east.  The large female grew really tired and started to retreat.  Thats when the Osprey turned things around and started attacking the large female Bald Eagle.  The Osprey made several dives at the Eagle.  Most of the time, the Eagle rolled upside down, while in flight, to meet the diving Osprey.  Then the Eagle landed on a sandy beach area next to the river.  While she rested there, the Osprey continued to dive bomb her.  It seems that the Eagle was hoping that the Osprey would hit the ground, but the Osprey's talons never touched down even though it came diving in a high speed.  After a few minutes, the Eagle took off flying in the same direction that the male went.  The Osprey left in the opposite direction.
Last week, I witnessed a pair of Bald eagles, a pair of Osprey, and a pair of Harris Hawks all fighting each other simultaniously, but that one didn't last nearly as long.
  Everybody, have a good night.

Hello Pards, hope this finds you all well and Happy!  ;D

Well I made it! its late but I'm here. Beautiful day here in the southeast corner of the republic of Texas!

Repaired the lawn tractor and did a little mowing today. It was warm and sunny here, hope all was good in the north country. Had Friends over for dinner and I grilled six of the best Ribeyes I have seen in a while.
We've had a good day, the new grandchild made his debut in Church this AM and he made a proud set of grandparents a happy proud set of Grandparents!
