Brunton Scopes
« on: April 29, 2009, 06:03:49 PM »
Has anyone ever used one of the Brunton Scopes?  They have a 1.5-6X40 that I am looking at putting on my 30-30 and eventually a 357 or 44 mag.  The reviews seemed to be good but I don't have any place around here I can go look at one.  Thanks for any information.

Back last year I purchased from Dick's Sporting Goods a scope called NRA Optics that was actually made by Brunton.  (3-9X40)  It was on sale for $100  regular $150.  I love it,  I put it on my .17HMR  less than 1" groups @ 100yds.  Easy to sight in,  I was going to buy one for my old 30/30 158 Topper and can't find them anymore and Dicks didn't know when they would get anymore.  I checked NRA website and searched Brunton on web to no avail.  Good luck and let me know if you findem.

Natchez or Midway had a blowout recently on the Brunton Scopes.  The only problem I had with my two were the logos fell off due to bad glue, but so did my simmons.
