Last time I went to a waffle house, maybe getting shot would have been better than the food. Maybe the lesson here is to be careful before you name your daughter Yakeisha. Could put a chip on her shoulder.

Hummm, I like Waffle House in my neck of the woods. Food is consitantly good, it is quick and atmosphere is pretty easy going.
NOW, if you are as I am, and you arise early in the morning, around 3AM sometimes, are hungry and you go to these places, you might be in for a suprise. Especially on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
The bars have closed and all the party goers are hungry---which generally means, also, inebriated.
I have seen a woman strip, lovers become intensly involved, arguements and fights in the parking lot. Best to avoid, OR seek out, these places at this time, as the mood strikes.
Food is still good and the entertainment is at it's best.
Blessings

Oh White Castle and Denny's are good too !!!
There's the Eat Rite Diner in Downtown St. Louis home of the Slinger (biscuits and gravy, eggs, tatertots, nacho cheese, and chili --- but I wouldn't ever go there any time of day.
Yeah, if you go there at 3:00 you'll have to deal with people like me.  ::) ::) ::)

If you see someone pass out and they're drowning in a plate of syrup, be a pal and pull them out.

Sounds like someone had an attitude.

For two hours after the bars close, any eatery that serves breakfast close by is going to be full of drunks.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
