410 barrel
« on: April 30, 2009, 04:09:58 PM »
I have browsed the FAQs, H&R website, and the 2009 H&R-NEF catalog. Might of missed it but can't seem to find answer in print. Does the 45-410 and or 22" youth 410 barrel have a 3" chamber? Anyone have one of these? Thanks!

Thanks Tim, I only looked in the accessory barrel section. Only you would think to look in the shotgun section for info on a shotgun barrel. ::) Never looked for a whole shotgun before. DUH! Does 3" chamber make too big a jump for the 45 LC? A friend gave me his brass and bullets for his LC when his wife got rid of him. Don't know if I want to set up for that cart. but love my 410 pumps. 22" barrel might be sweet on my SB2 frame while it's already in for another barrel.

Yeh, that FAQs section seems to be in a different language. Reminds me of a detailed instruction manual I used to try to follow on Christmas eve for my kids new toys >:(. I thought I was doing pretty good just being able to type on this new fangeled gizmo.

Yes, that's quite a jump, but not having sights is the bigger issue, just using a bead isn't very accurate, those that have had the 45/410 barrel drilled and tapped for a scope base have been much happier with the accuracy.  ;)

Good on ya for checking the FAQs too!! ;D

Probably lean more towards that youth barrel in 22". Think you could alphabetize that FAQs section. I really do look in there but get lost or something. Maybe Dewey Decimal system might help.

It's not necessary, just use Ctrl F to search the page for any topic you choose. ;)
