NIKON SCOPES

 nikon prostaff 3-9x40 with the BDC circle reticle. It is made in the Philippines?
I thought they are made in the USA

Nikons aren't made in the US, never have been that I'm aware of, even the Monarch has been made in the Philippines, used to be Japan.

Yes, made in the PI.

IMO, better to be made in the PI than in China.....for political reasons of course.

The Nikon scopes are quite nice IMO.

I spoke with Nikon customewr service and they confirmed that all Nikon shooitng optics are made in the PI but some of the other Nikon stuff is made at home.  I recently purchased a Nikon 3-9x40 Buckmaster with BDC for my AR-15 and absolutely love the scope.

Nikon customewr service
no questions ask or a copy of the original paid receipt is needed for repair.I know of a used one in  excellent shape  for sale
I never did any dealing with nikon now lepold is a different story no questions asked
