What is the value of a smith 41 mag model 57 6" barrel, excellent shape, wood box, paper box, holister and dies?

It is hard to judge how much corn you will get out of your patch until I have seen the patch......... ::)

Guns like cars are often over rated by their owners.  Ballpark figure, your gun, if in "exceellent" shape should go for around $550.  Maybe a little more if it has the "S" prefix serial number.  Keep in mind, guns like cars often have a higher value in diffrent parts of the country.

You didn't mention if it's P&R or not or the dash number after the model number inside the cylinder cutout but, don't think you'll find one for under around $650, today?
