6.8 Remington SPC
« on: May 03, 2009, 03:44:26 AM »
Just got my Contender 6.8 SPC together. Went to the range yesterday, consistant .75 inch groups.  Would like to hear how others are doing with this caliber.

27.0 of 322 behing a 100gr Rem psp.  Shoots under an inch in my Encore rifle (26" barrel soon to be 23" barrel)
If I agreed with you then we would both be wrong.

I have one in a 14" contender and will shoot under an inch if I do my part. Also bought an encore rifle barrel for my daughter last fall and she downed a nice five point at 75 yds will one shot. I am really impressed with both the accuracy and performance of this little round. Now I guess I will have to add a rifle barrel for myself, just another reason for a new barrel.
