Other than being 'more purdy', I'd say not.  Although it would be easier to find, if shooting an semi-auto.  The nickel finish will eventually wear if reloaded enough.

From what I understand,nickel brass was made for the police market so they could stay in belts without turning green.

I find nickled  brass some times loads a little smoother than just plain brass , but add a little car polish to the plain brass ! - and you find an edge .

The big disadvantage to nickel brass is that it can dull a case trimer VERY fast.  The only advantage is bling.

I like that they don't corrode up if stored in my pack or other places I might keep them. They don't seem to collect crud on them that can scar up a die like brass.

BUT  I don't like them because the case mouths seem to work harden quicker, get brittle and crack much sooner than brass cases.

It does clean up easy, it usually costs a little more, and for cost reasons it may be available after brass has sold out.  Anyway thats how I wound up with 100 StarLine nickel 45-70 from Midway this week (That is what was available).  Personally I like nickel for the looks, ease of cleaning and sometimes separating loads.

There may be some merit to the idea of it dulling a case trimmer a little quicker and case mouth splitting a little quicker,  but if you are not loading and shooting in mass quantity you will never know the difference.  Side by side if the nickel is a SMALL cost premium above brass I will buy the nickel, cause I like the looks, but currently I buy what is avalable.

After the long, the short answer to your question is probably personal preference would be the key advantage.  They are pretty though
