Swampman, Thanks for posting those pictures. I had all but givin up on taking the granddaughter (Around the block-Sleepy little area here) because of the hot right side pipe on my clone. I think that my granddaughter will be able to duplicate the leg posture of your grand kids to avoid this. If so, she will be delighted!

Swampman, I finally got to take the 4yr old grandaughter for a spin or two around the block. She really liked it, too much in fact as she quickly wanted to move her hands from along side the tank to the handlebar. This was ok but then she wanted me to move my hands completely off the grips so she could ride it :o what to do ???

Yes, it can be a little scarry.  I went real slow.  I rode about 50 miles day before yesterday.

  Cute!  Nothing I'd do but to each their own.  My son - he's 7 - hasn't asked to have a ride and I've got no interest in having anyone on back, or front for that matter.  Pass pegs are coming off and the solo seat has gone on.
