I have a Benjamin 392 multi-pump air rifle and am considering putting a peep sight on it.  Do I have to remove the factory dovetail rear sight to install it?  I have a good book on air rifles that shows a Benjamin with both rear sights on, in multple pictures, it seems to me that the dovetail would be in the way of a peripherial sight.

Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Christ,
I've got a 392 with a peep sight installed. Just screw push out the rear sight blade and your done.
you can leave the sight on as is if you wish so you can double check the aim. I did mine on and off
as I prefer as it only take seconds to do so.
