I was just wondering if anyone had used the product Plasti Dip to coat a gun stock? I have been looking at this stuff at Lowes and on the net. It comes in a spray can and in a dippable can for tool handles and such. I am going to spray a ruger 10/22 stock today and ill let yall know how it turns out.

You might want to try a little on a scrap of wood and see how you like it. It dries very pliable, and will tear easily in my experience. I've tried it on tools, but it was not very durable.

Spray can truck bed liner from Walmart works good. Larry

Your correct about it being pliable. It feels really cool on the factory synthetic stock, has a texture pretty close to my hogue grips on my pistol. Just not as squishy. Even if it is not very durable it only cost 6 bucks to try a can out and it will peel right off they say.
