SB1 questions
« on: May 22, 2009, 06:14:28 AM »
Here I go again starting something. ::) Now we all know that we CANNOT use a rifle/pistol barrel on a SB1 frame, pressure, soft receiver and all of that. But we can use the 12/20 ga shotgun barrel  and order a insert from several makers in several high intensity cartridges.38 Spec SAMMI spec 35,000psi and 9mm SAAMI spec 38,500psi.
Some of you guys who know a lot more than me  inform me of my lack of understanding. ???  Doug

I don't see a problem with it since H&R will fit any 1987 or later SB1 frames with 357mag barrels, just watch for primer issues.  ;)

Same thing, but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask about it specifically, H&R(Remington) has recently been changing their policies on accessory barrels.
