Modell 770 and after market parts

I am wondering if you can use 700 aftermarket accessories such as stocks and what not for the 770.  Are the rifles built too different?

A friend had one for a while.  I think you are limited to what sling you want as an option or if you want to replace the scope with another.
But a quick E-mail to Remington will confirm if the 770 will fit in differrent stocks.
