hunting with beagles

 any one have beagles that hunt ? i do/did  a former friend came to my home to visit and saw my 13 year old beagle  pea on his truck tire well he went balistic and kicked my dog , now i had to pay 500.00 to the vet for surgery to fix dogs broken leg , this puke of a man says he did not do it , but at the time told me he kicked / shoved my dog off his tire , well the liar that he is wont pay or even help pay the vet bill, i can sue in civil court for the money and wait till the guy gets a job , or i can go get even with  the creep what would some of you that have dogs do ,? i did file a complaint with the state police NY, they did not find enough evidence for it to be a criminal act ... and told me my only recoarse is the civil suite , im pissed off , i think ill get even with a brake fluid balloon on his bran-new truck the one the dog peed on , dam dodge anyway .. again what would you do ? upset with lame dog

   I have owned beagles for 50 years. I love to hunt rabbits. If someone kicked one of my dogs they would be in a world of crap. I certainly would  find a way to get even for this act. Paybacks are a bi---.   bobg

Don't believe in kicking dogs except in self defense.  Friend or not he would have left my place limping and wearing three shoes. 

If you don't want your truck tires piXX on by a beagle or any other dog, you better not drive a truck.  Course I live in the south and the dogs up there, with the exception of yours,  may prefer another type tire

Timmo, Just forget this guy as a friend or aquaintance. He should not be welcome anymore.

But as far as revenge let God even it out for you and avoid the legal problems that could come if you take maters into your own hands. JMO Regards,

there are men among us that feel just as i do about kicking a dog mine or someone else`s i have told him that if i find him here at my home ever again he would be here the next day too if you get what i mean dead men don`t talk ,or walk run very well , and so far i have gotton no place with the county sheriff or the state police , why i even called the assistant district attourney and ask why he would not persue a criminal charge of cruelity to animals  was told his word against mine well two men in the fenced in yard dog suffers broken leg i didn`t do it to my own dog who does that leave (the other guy ) who admitted to me he had kicked my dog , now he swears up and down he did not kick any dog ever anyplace , go figure i did and have a bag of water ballons filled  with brake fluid to spill splash on his truck a new 2008 dodge with the big hemi he is so proud of ? i respect my beagle more than i do most humans i have ever met, and now the creep is on the list first. in fact im trying hard not to do a nasty to him for fear of the law and what would happen to me if i were to be caught more and more i think it would be worth the chance!!! time will tell his word against mine ?  ( ill leave as much evidence as he left me with) A PROBLEM TO SOLVE  thanks for all the replies it makes a man feel pretty good to know there are others out there that think the same about dogs and the respect they are due for the countless hours of fun, excitement ,and the things these beagles can do with so little . thanks again for all the replies timmo 58
