20 ga rifled barrel

What would happen if I put a 20ga shotgun shell in a rifled slug barrel what kind of a pattern would I get if any? How far will it go and be lethal? I would have to be in a survival mode to do this. TIA Nim

The pattern would be Like a Doughnut.   A big hole in the center of the pattern.  As far as survival Mode,
If I had to use it to protect my self, it would do Fine For close quarters only (As in a few feet). A man Might get **lucky** and Be able to kill some small game with them also. Point of aim might be tricky.
