Hello from PA
« on: May 28, 2009, 02:51:46 AM »
Just saw this topic, so I guess that I should introduce myself.  Found Graybeard from a friend because of the bullet swaging thread.  Me and a couple of buddies started making .22 bullets from rimfire brass, and are still in the learning process.  Some good stuff there, so I started exploring.

I live in Eighty Four, which is about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh.  Been a lifelong hunter.  Mainly deer, turkey, and bear now.  Too bad most of the small game has dissapeared in this part of the state.  Started handloading in 1966 on a Belding and Mull horizontal press that I inherited from a great uncle.

What really uses most of my time now in NRA and CMP Highpower competition.  I shoot a couple of AR's but really like the old guns, Garands, Springfields.  I also shoot a Swedish M96 in vintage matches.  Just got a K31 and found some good stuff/links here for loading 7.5 x 55.  Hope to give it a try in a June antique match.

Welcome,

I live about an hour north of Pittsburgh. Nice to see there is someone close to me on here!
