Saw an article in Guns of the Old West where they had cut the plastic triggerguard flush and boltd a kentucky rifle guard on a BC.  Am seriously thinking of puttig a similiar rig on mine.  Have two possible guards in mind.  Pics attached. What do you guys think?

I was more thinking of which of these looks like it would work/fit best. I like the rear extension on the flintlock, but I would have to tap behind the trigger to attach.  Think there is enough material?  The Hawken would bolt in front of the trigger and to the rear stock.

I think the TC guard would have too big of an opening to work well,  I think the other one would work better, but it's hard to tell without having the parts to check for fit.
